We at North Rustic  are happy to say that our new VG10 Damascus series has been very well received by our customers!! The response to our maintenance free VG10 Damascus has been wonderful, so we are excited to say that we have several new models coming soon!! Vg10 Knives and New Leather Bags Have Arrived

 Hello and welcome back to the North Rustic blog!! We now have new VG10 Damascus Steel which has been requested for some time now. This high quality rare Vg10 steel is amazing in that it is Damascus that does not rust and has much less maintenance required than standard Damascus. In addition to new knife models we also have added several new Leather Bags and Wallets to our shop. Damascus Knives Have Arrived At NorthRustic.com

 

We now have a few listings active on our site for Damascus steel pocket knives. We will in the future do Fixed Blades a swell, but for now we have folding Damascus knives. We have several options for handle material such as Rose Wood, Deer Antler, Ram Horn, Buffalo Bone and more. Our Damascus is made of 276 layers and a combination of 1095 and 15N20 High Carbon with Nickel layer Blades. For these knives we have optional bolster engraving, allowing for 3 letters or  numbers to be engraved. The blade due to the metal type and patterns wont work with engraving, so on these models the bolster is where we apply to personalization. We have 2 models currently being designed with high quality 60 HRC VG10 Damascus Steel. This is a very unique, rare, and strong combination to make a stellar blade in appearance and performance. Unlike standard Damascus which requires cleaning / oil to maintain a rust free knife, the VG10 is rust resistant and much higher in quality than normal standard Damascus. We will soon have new blades with VG10 Damascus launching in the coming weeks, stay tuned to see the next level of North Rustic designs!!!
